This is a great new language option being added to the Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre. We were just there last month and this place is recommended.

So far, we’ve ventured out to a number of different towns, museums and festivals within Manitoba, as planned. This summer, the list has included stops at Winnipeg Beach, Portage la Prairie, Morden, Richer, and soon, Ste. Anne/Lilac. These visits have been interesting and amusing and we’ll be doing some more of these in the future.

Rides at the Morden Corn & Apple Festival

The family enjoyed this morning in Morden, MB for the annual Corn & Apple Festival and a visit to the Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre.

The family had a great time at the Fort La Reine Museum in Portage La Prairie.

Some highlights apart from the terrific tour included the ginger ale making (at the museum), and checking out some other sites in town including the largest Coke can statue (which I’m not sure why exists, by the way), and visiting the one and only Indian buffet in town, because, of course we had to do that.

We’ll be back.
