We tried some freshly made chebureky — giant half-moon shaped pastries stuffed with pork with hints of dill — at Kozak Foods today. They were so delicious we didn’t think to take a picture of them. Go and try this place. They cater and their food is awesome.
A super hot Saturday spent at the beach followed by a (socially-distanced) patio visit to Blue Haze BBQ in Beausejour. This is the “Pitmaster Platter,” served up with BBQ chicken, ribs, brisket (delicious) and pulled pork. Also ordered: an amazing Cubano sandwich made with mojo pork, and a smoked Mac and Cheese.

Smoked and seared some sirloin and NY strip steaks yesterday evening. These were seasoned with a new coffee rub, smoked with a mix of applewood and pecan, and then seared to perfection.
A sunny Canada Day afternoon spent at the local farmers market.
