It’s annoying when, years after reading a good book, you think back on it and remember enjoying it, but can’t recall all of the particular details that made you enjoy the book.

I think may way around this will be to capture some key notes and highlights immediately after reading through something, and then saving or even publishing them for later if needed. It seems like a bit of work, but I’m usually highlighting or annotating things anyway. I may as well make these highlights more accessible. Credit goes to Derek Sivers for this idea.
