A hike through a nearby forest in winter

The family went for a visit to the frenchway cafe this morning to pick up some food from this local all-day breakfast and brunch spot. This was our first time there and we all enjoyed our meals. We will be back.

If you’re able to support local businesses over the holidays, go and check out, a site supporting Winnipeg businesses from “local makers and merchants, to your door”.

As small local businesses struggle to maintain business during another COVID lockdown, here’s an easy way to find a small business to support for your holiday shopping.

These small businesses currently accept online orders, so visit them if you can. Add any suggestions to the comments below or tweet them @dilawri. I’ll do my best to keep this updated. The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce seems to have a local business directory that you can also browse through.
